Note: Oral history given by Elaine Talton on 6/20/05: Louise Caldwell Parrish was the aunt of Louise Moore Thomas. John Parrish and Louise Thomas were first cousins. Louise Parrish had two sisters, Fannie Carter and Martha.

We have been unable to find a direct link. The most obvious question is whether or not Emily Smith, daughter of Sydnor Smith and Sally Craddock Smith, remarried a Caldwell (as opposed to current information indicating she married a Cobbwell and had one child, Corlatta) and had other children or grandchildren. Another possibility is that Louise Parrish’s maiden name was Cobbwell rather than Caldwell.
